When I told a co-worker that I have
breast cancer, he expressed grave concern followed by, “They have
made great strides in breast cancer treatment – just look at Pam
Daale!” I didn’t have the heart to tell him that Pam Daale, a
very popular local meteorologist had died from breast cancer several
weeks before.
