Are
You Still Around?
I saw one of my former ambulance
partners while I was at the hospital. He now works there full time.
When he saw me, obviously bald and knowing I had cancer, he laughed
and said " Are you still around ? We thought you'd be dead by
now!" He was carrying a large sheet cake for somebody's
birthday. I wish that I had left him wearing it!
