I
could only stare!
Finally, I was out of my house after months of
treatments, reactions and generally feeling horrible. An
acquaintance asked, "How are you?" I said, "Well I am
just getting back on my feet and am still having trouble with side
effects." She replied, "What's wrong, you just had breast
cancer? I had no idea you were still sick, most people get over that
in weeks!"
I could only stare!
Thanks for the opportunity to finally tell someone
that. I was amazed by the entire exchange.
